We are a non governmental and non-profit- organization driven by a passionate commitment to defend and the human life, dignity and integrity through empowering vulnerable communities and transform lives. We believe that every individual person, deserves to live, in dignity, opportunity and hope. We value diversity, transparency and exclusivity in all our endeavors. We are committed to transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of resources, while promoting self-sufficiency and sustainable growth.

Our History

We are SAFEGUARD HUMANITY FOUNDATION, establishes in 2016 to tackle the socio-economic, political cum religious crisis and turbulence of our time, to protect humanity’s well-being and to seek the precious balance between justice, freedom and rights and the endemic insecurity, climate change, violence and wars, poverty in the midst of plenty, sickness, diseases and famine that often threaten the balance of a just world than champion and advance the common good and well-being of mankind. SHUF’s journey began with the Vision Bearer, CESCO MTenez gathering a group of passionate friends who shared a common vision of creating a better world. Our founders, [Francesco, Helen, Rupert, Anthony, Augustina, Damian and Catherine], were driven by a desire to make a positive impact on their community. They started by providing basic necessities like food, shelter, education, scholarships and healthcare to those in need.

OUR ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURES

At SHUF, our organizational structure is designed to support our mission and ensure effective governance, management, and implementation of our programs. Our structure includes: 1. Board of Trustees: Providing strategic guidance and oversight. 2. Executive Team: Leading and managing our operations. 3. Program Teams: Designing and delivering impactful initiatives. Support Teams: Enabling our work through administration, finance, and communications. This structure allows us to work efficiently, make informed decisions, and drive meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

Board of Trustees

1. Board of Directors: We are led by a group of experienced professionals and experts who oversee the foundation’s strategic direction, governance, policies and operations.
2. Executive Committee: A subset of the Board of Directors responsible for making key decisions and providing guidance on urgent matters.

Admin-Management

1. Executive Director: The chief executive officer responsible for leading the foundation’s operations, implementing strategies, and managing staff.
2. Department Heads: Senior managers who oversee specific departments, such as programs, fundraising, communications, and finance.

Regional Officers

1. Regional Directors: Oversee operations and programs in specific regions with a country.
