1. ECO AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES DEPARTMENT (ECDID)

Promote ECO friendly environment and Community-led initiatives to enhance development, climate and environmental justice.

1. Foster Eco-friendly behaviour, advance policies, and sustainable environmental practices that safeguard the planet for future generations and safe for all earth dwellers.
2. Awareness campaign on total human well-being and environmental health.
3. In charge of studies and analysis for community-based development projects.

• EDUCATION AND CHILD-SUPPORT INITIATIVE DEPARTMENT (ECID)

Combating ignorance through the provision of quality education, child support sponsorship and empowerment program for young people

1. Foster collaboration with our partners and other NGOs, government agencies and academia, private sectors and organizations to maximize impact and promote synergistic efforts.
2. In charge of empowering individuals and communities through education, skills training, and capacity-building initiatives.
3. Responsible for Child and Youth education and targeted adult literacy program
4. Can build our own group of schools even to the university level

• ECONOMIC AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE DEPARTMENT (ESDID)

Fighting against poverty through community-led food production initiatives with focus on encouraging small scale sustainable farming/business enterprise initiatives

1. Promote economic and social development and empowerment, particularly among marginalized populations, to enhance resilience and self-reliance.
2. Foster partnership with local Communities and individuals to ensure that programs and initiatives are responsive to their needs and values.
3. Engage in social research and agricultural development program for communities and individual empowerment.
4. Can engage in micro-finance Banking for low interest loan as means of income generation and assisting the poor and elevating small businesses.

• HEALTH AND WHOLENESS INITIATIVES DEPARTMENT (HWBID)

Engaging in advocacy and sensitization campaign against harmful drug use, preventable viral diseases and provide health support and management relief to victims of pandemics, epidemics/humanitarian crisis.

1. Rapid response to humanitarian crises and management relief assistance to victim persons/community
2. In charge of seminars and campaign against harmful drug use.
3. Work with health partners to provide health assistance/support to persons in need
4. Can run or build Safeguard foundation Hospital, lab investigation, mortuaries etc

• MEDIATION AND HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENSE INITIATIVES DEPARTMENT (MHRDID)

Mediation and Community peace-initiative, Human right advocacy, Child trafficking and modern slavery campaign, legal assistance to indigent drug defendants.

1. Foster individual fundamental rights and the rights of refugees, displaced persons, and persons with disabilities.
2. Advocating for human freedom, and justice for the oppressed persons or community
3. Fight against rape, unlawful torture, extra-judiciary killing, and arbitrary detention.
4. Advocate against all kinds of racial and tribal discrimination and sentiments.
5. Promote peace-building initiatives and conflict resolution mechanisms to prevent and mitigate disputes and violence.
6. Building bridge to bringing individuals and Communities in conflict together for mutual settlement
7.  Foster conscientious campaign and seminars for peaceful resolution rather than violence and conflict amongst people.
8. Provide legal support and representation to the victims of abuse, human rights violation and the unjustly treated.
9. Develop and establish our own Safeguard Foundation TV media outlet

• HUMANITARIAN AND EMERGENCY RAPID RESPONSE DEPARTMENT (HERID)

Foster vigilance and campaign for epidemic outbreak and pandemic emergencies, braced with humanitarian and emergency responses

1. In charge of campaign and epidemic awareness In charge of urgent and rapid humanitarian aids response in charge of material support/assistance to victims.
2. In charge of personal mobilization to humanitarian and disaster areas.
3. Assists disaster and accident victims: Accidents and etc.
4. Meet urgent humanitarian and emergency needs, assist in-traffics, corpse removal from the roads etc

• THE VULNERABLE AND ABUSED INITIATIVES DEPARTMENT (VHID)

Facilitating the care and rehabilitation of refugees, displaced persons, street children, teenage pregnant girls/orphanage homes, drug use dependents and sexually abused persons.

1. Foster pro-life campaign, raise awareness about the Human Life, Human Dignity and the Human Integrity
2. Advocacy for sex education and the devastating effect of pre-marital sex and teenage pregnancy, HIV Aids, promote pro-life.
3. Campaign and organize seminars against the dangers of substance abuse and help the drug use dependents addicts get assistance and healing.
4. Rehabilitate and care for refugees, displaced persons, orphans, center for Senior citizen and the streets children.
5. Facilitate the care and rehabilitation of vulnerable teenage pregnant girls/Care of orphanage homes.

1. Proposals: Each department would have to be deeply rooted in the core values and maintain the principles as customary norm of our foundation. And each department would have to develop its strategies and mastery of the subjects of that department and understand the inter relatedness of the departments. As we conclude our journey through SHUF’s seven departments, we’re reminded of the power of collective action and the impact we can have when we work together towards a common goal.
