We are a non governmental and non-profit- organization driven by a passionate commitment to defend and the human life, dignity and integrity through empowering vulnerable communities and transform lives. We believe that every individual person, deserves to live, in dignity, opportunity and hope. We value diversity, transparency and exclusivity in all our endeavors. We are committed to transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of resources, while promoting self-sufficiency and sustainable growth.

EARLY BEGINNING

Our History

We are SAFEGUARD HUMANITY FOUNDATION, establishes in 2016 to tackle the socio-economic, political cum religious crisis and turbulence of our time, to protect humanity’s well-being and to seek the precious balance between justice, freedom and rights and the endemic insecurity, climate change, violence and wars, poverty in the midst of plenty, sickness, diseases and famine that often threaten the balance of a just world than champion and advance the common good and well-being of mankind

SHUF’s journey began with the Vision Bearer, CESCO MTenez gathering a group of passionate friends who shared a common vision of creating a better world. Our founders, [Francesco, Helen, Rupert, Anthony, Augustina, Damian and Catherine], were driven by a desire to make a positive impact on their community. They started by providing basic necessities like food, shelter, education, scholarships and healthcare to those in need.

Growth and Expansion
As SHUF grew, so did its scope and reach. We expanded our programs to include Environmental protection, economic empowerment, and community sustainable development initiatives. Our team worked closely with local communities, governments, and international organizations to ensure that our efforts were effective and sustainable.m

Milestones and Achievements
Over the years, SHUF has achieved numerous milestones and received recognition for its outstanding work. Some of our notable achievements include:
– Providing emergency relief to a great number of people affected by Disaster/Conflict across the nation.
– Supporting about 150 small businesses and entrepreneurs through our economic empowerment programs
– Establishing about 75 community centers and libraries to promote education and literacy
– Advocating for policy changes and human rights through our advocacy initiatives

Our Leadership and Governance-Founders and Leaders: SHUF was founded by Cesco MTenez and Co, a group of passionate individuals who shared a common vision of creating a better world. Our current leadership team is comprised of experienced professionals who are dedicated to our mission and values.

Board of Directors: Our board of directors is responsible for overseeing our strategy and ensuring that we are accountable to our stakeholders. Our board members are experts in their fields and bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to our organization.

We promote ECO friendly environment and community-led initiatives to enhance sustainable development, climate and environmental justice. We combat ignorance through quality education, child-care and sponsorship and initiates development programs for young people, women and girls. with focus on sustainable small-scale farming/business enterprises

We fight the root cause of poverty through community-led sustainable food production and skill acquisition campaign initiatives,

We engage in advocacy and sensitization campaign against harmful drug use, preventable viral diseases, and providing health support and management relief to vulnerable victims of pandemics and humanitarian crisis.

We advocate for human right, campaign against child trafficking and modern slavery and legal representation to the unjustly imprisoned

We provide housing to the vulnerable populations including; the care and rehabilitation of refugees, displaced persons, the elderly, street children, the homeless teenage pregnant girls.

We campaign against-substance and drug use dependents and the sexually abused persons. t

We advocate for peaceful mediatory-initiatives campaign and intervention in Community crises and provide legal support to the victims of abuse, and the unjustly treated.
